Apple and Cinnamon Strudel
Ingredients:
5 cooking apples, peeled and grated
½ cup sultanas
50g flaked almonds
2 tsp McCORMICK Ground Cinnamon
½ tsp McCORMICK Ground Ginger
1/3 cup brown sugar
4 sheets filo pastry
Spray olive oil
10g butter, melted
Method:
Mix the first 7 ingredients together in a bowl (save a few almonds for the top of the strudel).
Spray each sheet of filo pastry with the olive oil spray and place them on top of each other. Place the apple mixture onto the filo and roll into a log sealing the ends.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle the left over almonds and a sprinkle of cinnamon onto the top of the strudel. Place in a pre heated oven (180°C) for 40 minutes or until golden.
